I read your child's IEP the way an outside professional would—with fresh, trained eyes. I look only at what is written on paper, because that's what schools are ultimately responsible for providing.

First, I'll tell you what your child's records actually communicate.

• How does the IEP describe your child?
• Does it clearly identify their strengths and needs?
• Based on that description, what services, supports, and programs would I expect to see?

Then I'll compare those expectations to what's actually included.

I'll identify:

• Missing services or supports
• Weak or vague language
• Goals that aren't measurable or meaningful or attainable
• Areas that are well written
• Red flags that could affect your child's progress
• Specific recommendations for strengthening the IEP

The goal is simple: Make sure the child on paper accurately reflects the child sitting next to you.

I'll review up to three documents:

• Current or proposed IEP
• Most recent evaluation or reevaluation report
• Most recent progress monitoring report

You'll receive:

• A detailed PDF report explaining what your child's records say—and what they don't.
• A personalized list of recommendations to discuss with your IEP team.
• A customized email you can send to the school requesting changes or asking questions.
• One follow-up email after your meeting or after you've contacted the school, if you have additional questions.

Your completed report will be delivered within 48–72 hours after I receive all of your documents (excluding weekends).
